tonite i realised the magnitude of you.

i think maybe i’ve tripped and traipsed this far to finally get here.

the breaks and spills? – they were worth it if only for this.

i’ve been thinking how drastically our perception of things/people can change.

how mere split seconds can make such eminent alterations.

i quite like that it pricks you, the realisation. it wakes you up to certain solidity; wipes away the vague, sketchy, flat bits; argues, then admits the fallacies.

term 2’s end is nigh!

and everyone shout huzaah!

final exams have come and gone, reports have been typed and sent out, people have graduated from elicos, i’ve been doing my job, i’ve been getting paid, lauren and the parents are arriving in two weeks, this time and a day later this week, i’ll be resting and relaxing in an uber cool bendigo get-away place, i gave blood and got told i had awesome pumping action skills eventhough i was small (comparatively, of course. these aussies automatically categorize all asians as tiny. makes you wonder), i’ve got a new term timetable that doesn’t include teaching six, mind-numbing, crazy-inducing lessons in a day (just five), wednesday is still cake day at work, we have a good stock of soymilk in the pantry and weird fishes/arpeggi by radiohead is currently playing.
