it’s 2:40 a.m and i’ve got a pack of bird’s eye country harvest frozen veges on a very swollen left foot.
nice, going, steph.

us non-working people (and those who sneaked off early) took the short drive down to port melbbie just for kicks.
salty ocean breezes, chor tai ti on sun drenched sands and pseudo claypot chicken rice afterwards is quite indulgent.
sleeping in the next day till 11a.m is also quite decadent. the boy was most aghast when he called for lunch and found me still in bed. apparently working adults wake up at 730.
:)

same song, different city.
after a back-breaking, muscle-burning fourteen hours of moving apartment, i’ve finally made myself at home in my new room.
my favourite bit about the place? the fact that i can stick my head out the window and have a natter with ro on his balcony below.
another favourite bit about the place? i’ve got a kick-ass, william anglaise trained chef/patissier living with me.
now, doesn’t that make you wanna hop on a plane and come visit me.
i can’t believe it’s come full circle and i’m heading back to melbbie.
for this lifetime,
it has been a pleasure.
ro and i got special invites to the premier of mark tan’s jarum halus (out in cinemas today, go watch!). it was surreal watching the likes of colin k, uncle hilmy and several other cameo-featuring friends on big screen. valiant effort from mark; brilliant script, top cast.
in other exciting news….
plays tonite at laundry bar @ the curve!
the boy is stoked they managed to score a gig before leaving. i should go regailed with pom poms and banners. wouldn’t that be a scene.
playing home ground at laundry?
yep, i reckon that’s a pretty darn good break.
i’m psyched.
hello, rockstar.
edit: 3:12 a.m. and my brain is still whirling from tonite’s gig. the boys were dynamite. adrenaline was high, energy was pumping, and as always, a certain bassist in red very successfully rocked my socks.
