Reason enough
and we feel like rain
when the words all sound the same
as the curtain closes on another day
-motion city soundtrack-
it’s a sense of jadedness that courses through and if i would be honest, i’m complacently agreeable with it all. there’s something to be said about wallowing in realistic apathy.
it’s scarily comfortable walking on thin ice.
i wish you were home.

i guess sometimes we all just need a decadent chocolate brownie to make things alright.
that and a petrol-spilling-smelling friend.
quote of the night:
“give me an example of an irregular verb.”
“make-out.”
“what the…”
“correct what. unless you do that regularly lah.”
“…..”
Striking it (in more ways than one)
i’m being a parasite by leeching off the neighbour’s wireless cos the lightning did a fry-up to my modem. by balancing my lap top just….so…. at this…. angle…and…by not…moving…a… muscle…ah hah! score! two signal bars.
on a separate note…
check *THIS* out.
support our local film industry ya’all. jarum halus, based on shakespeare’s othello is written and directed by mark tan (who is by the way, ro’s good mate. who’dathunk?) and involving our very own colin kirton. according to ck, the movie is set to premier next month in cologne, germany at the cineasia film fest. our local launch date is 10th january ‘08 at GSC international screens.
now tell me. just how flipping cool is that?!
Can you hear the hallelujah chorus
guess who’s got tickets to the 2008 australian soundwave festival!
shweeeeeeet.
the line-up is totally psych. over thirty bands including… wait for it…
cartel, incubus, motion city soundtrack, red jumpsuit apparatus, plain white t’s, boys like girls, the starting line, mae, saosin and envy on the coast.
oh, be still my heart.
hurry february.
It’s been a while
the thought of going back to this,
this,
and this,
makes me all happy inside.
i’ve missed richmond. i’ve missed tuesday creative ministry practices; ignite fellowship; late night makan sessions along lygon street; starbucks catch ups with the girls; tossing between going to pacific house or pacific house or… pacific house for after church lunch; catching the 48 or 75 to bridge road; free delirious and third day concerts.
sigh.
hurry january.
I used to like forget-me-nots
comfortable.
but heart-breakingly fleeting.
err on caution wishing wise,
but i’d walk on breaks,
walk on breaks.
there are times when my breath catches,
and think i would not be able to find you.
maybe you can keep me alive
when the lights go down.
