Wrapping up

in a nutshell:

1) christmas 2006 was a rather sedate affair save for the fact that i spent a good part of the day at the police station after the faithful fiat caught on fire. yeah. freaky deaky. at least i’ll have something to tell my kids one day. i’m hoping the burn mark on my foot stays a while so i’ll have scar proof that, yes, i have been trapped in a car engulfed by flames before. (okok, so maybe not soo drama, but you get the picture).

2) the big guy came a visitin’ from far away uk and only called me two weeks later. i have forgiven him, due to the fact that there was a bit of mis-communication, but will only truly restore him to my good books if he promises to take me for a ride in his beemer. (i jest. you know how happy i am to see you, beemer or not :P )

3) i have officially eaten too much fruitcake.

4) krug champagne is by far, the best.

5) i can wear dangly earrings and not look like a complete fool.

6) i have found the ultimate gprs guide,  otherwise known as the good ol’ boyfriend.

7) the sister leaves for rbs in a couple of days. who shall taketh upon herself the task of entertainer/gossip fulfiller/loud mouth noise maker? the lim household shall surely, for an astounding five weeks,  be a silent entity.

The way we are

rocktheworld concerts; dodgy emo rockers; yummy snacking and ktz gluttony; dvd curl ups; streetlight gazes; midnight pop-overs; dimpled smiles, gimme-hugs.

and it’s like i never left.

Things to shout about

today, at school, i was offered a homemade brownie and a gingerbread man with m&m buttons.

:)

i love that they call me ms stephanie; i love that they consider me their friend and link arms with me; i love that the 5H boys salute me when i tell them to get in line; i love that the girls give me a million party points and tell me i’m the nicest; i love when they listen and tell me they understand what i teach; i love when the wallflowers start to smile back eventhough they’re shy; i love the cheeky grins and ruffled hairs; i love their limitless creativity and boundless 7.45am/9.30am/12pm energy; i love that everyday, i wake up wanting to go to work just to see my kids.
