On the rocks

I went rock climbing yesterday.

It was pure adrenaline-rush fun.

But clinging on to a vertical wall with your arms and legs splayed out in all directions isn’t visually pleasing.

And looking up at someone’s butt as you blay them isn’t too great either.

(Unless you’re perving, which would then be a great excuse)

It was thrilling (rock climbing lah! What were you thinking?). Plus I gave my arms a solid workout.

Those interested, head on to Victoria Arcade, Flemington. Take the 59, Airport West tram from Vic Market.

Go put your physical and mental powers to the test.

(Oh, and eating bananas before climbing does the trick. Energy boost schamoost!)

A RAY-ly good ending?

Good endings leave us with a sense that they could not possibly have been anything but what they are

Is hanging on to one ray of sunlight my good ending?

I want to believe so.

I really do.

…and spreads some more

Making fiends, making fiends,
Vendetta’s always making fiends,
While Charlotte makes friends.

Take a break from the crimson room and grab a muffin film

And the disease spreads…

I have abandoned helping Joe in his quest to fix that stupid dam.

Here’s an easier one for those at the end of their tether.

Enter the CRIMSON ROOM.

Don’t we all love FLASH games?

p/s Play this with the lights off and volume turned up. Ooooo :) Am-bi-ence aye.

Damn that dam

Joe is a good sleeper, very good - some would say the greatest in Chasmton. But there are just some things you can’t sleep through; good lovin’ and bad rockfall.
Joe doesn’t get much lovin these days, but rockfall has cut off his town’s water supply from the dam at the top of the chasm, and you (lucky devil) have the chance to go along for the long and perilous ride.

I am hooked onto FLASH games.

Haven’t solved it yet, but still hooked.

P/s Lemme know if you managed to fix the dam.

Spring that sprang went sproing

Spring has sprung!

I think.

My friend has hay fever, so I guess that confirms it.

I’ve got spring fever. I need to go shopping.

Sproing sproing.

Of purple lights, possums and presbyteries

Terrifying gaudy purple lights on the REB made un-terrifiable with a lomo cam. Casting shadows and pretending to be ghostly entities. Giddy fun.

Petrifying presbytery with a strange haunting appeal. For the guys anyway. Felt like some blair witch show.

Me? I was just scared stiff.

“You chicken ah?” “Run to the end and come back” “Eeee! Don’t open the gate!”

Walking in a park in the dark.

I think we intruded upon possum territory. They were staring us down. Probably annoyed at four silly onlookers gawking and gaping at them.

Dawn: “Oh looook! There’s another one up there!”
Steph: “Where, where?? Ohhhh… eeeeee… so cute!!!”
Dawn: “Aiyo! Look at how they walk!”
Steph: “Eeee.. So cute! So fat!” (proceeds to imitate the Possum walk)

An otherwise mundane Sunday night un-mundaned.

I love spontaneus moments.

When you need to know

I don’t feel too appreciated.

Ya know when you do things for people but the thanks goes to others? Sometimes I ask myself why I even bother, why I do all that I do, why I keep giving and giving.

And the only answer, the only logical (or illogical) reasoning that I can think of is simply because I WANT to. Even at the ‘cost’ of not being acknowledged.

I love, therefore I want.

Does that make sense?

Then why am I complaining? Am I being selfish in my so called unselfishness? Do I really need the affirmation and gratefullness spelled out for me?

I guess not.

It’s just one of those days.

To my partner in crime/twin, I need a whinge.
